Pedestrian Fencing

Road Pedestrian Fencing is designed to withstand vehicle impacts whilst channelling pedestrians to safe road crossing locations. Featuring heavy-duty steel construction, the vertical balusters are offset to enhance driver line-of-sight, enabling the driver to adjust their behaviour once a pedestrian approaches the roadway.

Road Pedestrian Fencing is the only pedestrian fencing type recommended by Transport for NSW (formerly RMS) for use on the NSW classified road network, and may be installed along the roadside verge or in the median of roads with posted speed zones of up to 80km/h. Pedestrian Fencing can also be used to protect pedestrians from hazards such as steep drop-offs and large open drains.
